Left of Centre Destructions has recently released two new films, The Strange, Yellow and Orange Box and A Screenwriter's Nightmare, at the Left of Centre Destructions Theatre. If you can spare a moment from your self-loathing or masturbatory sock-sessions, then we invite you to watch the afore mentioned films depicting the lives of a troglodyte surfer from Santa Monica and a feeble-minded, bald screenwriter who urinates like a female.
Left of Centre's short The Demise of the Y Chromosome was screened at Madlab Gallery's Video Film Fest of 2008. And MadLab threw a hell of a show. The event was packed with talented, independent artists, great films and good people - and then there was us. We'd like to believe that most of the audience was laughing with us and not merely at us, but who can say for sure? Many thanks to the Left of Centre's Ministers of Propaganda for supporting the cause.
We're part-time photographers. And we're part-time professionals. And we're always documenting the revolution. DJs Nessuno and Fat Tongue are teaming up with the crazy-talented Chicago spinner Puppy Bike. They've recently booked a 6-week Scandinavian tour opening for the nefarious Danish industrial band DoucheBagging. Download one of DJ Puppy Bike's recent mixes here. And check out Left Out for info on the upcoming tour and the dirtiest beats around.
Local News: LOC's 2008 May Day Party was a delicious disaster. After two years in Chicago, we moved it to Columbus, Ohio - yes, Ohio. All together, we raised close to nothing for deserving charities and lost about a million brain cells. The winner of the best-dressed comrade and least dressed comradette were given prizes and sex, respectively. Find out if your vote was ignored for the best outfit and gift at the May Day forum

We are totally frustrated with our Left Lane Driving Movement. It seems that no matter how hard we try, we cannot get drivers to wake up and drive courteously. The left lane continues to be filled with needless breakers and cell-phone sleepers.
On top of that, we found a few assheads who have virtually plagiarized our leftlane website - one jackass even stole our stolen Marxist rhetoric. We are assembling a list of sell-outs and copycats on the Left Alone Message Board. Take a look at some of their sites and add others- hey, like they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Thanks, we guess...
The Left Alone Message Board just added a few new forums: Sasoku Mike's comic and gaming forum, Zona Libre of the magical McSula, Della Destra where Sadamsan's delusions become reality, and Left Arm(y) for political maunderings and the largest Obama Art collection around.

Leftist quote of the week (12/07/08): The love of equality and of a frugal economy is greatly excited by equality and frugality themselves, in societies where both these virtues are established by law.
In monarchies and despotic governments, nobody aims at equality; this does not so much as enter their thoughts; they all aspire to superiority. People of the very lowest condition desire to emerge from their obscurity, only to lord it over their fellow-subjects.
It is the same with respect to frugality. To love it, we must practise and enjoy it. It is not those who are enervated by pleasure that are fond of a frugal life; were this natural and common, Alcibiades would never have been the admiration of the universe. Neither is it those who envy or admire the luxury of the great; people that have present to their view none but rich men, or men miserable like themselves, detest their wretched condition, without loving or knowing the real term or point of misery.
A true maxim it is, therefore, that in order to love equality and frugality in a republic, these virtues must have been previously established by law.
